PORTFOLIO X-ray Vision 1/4

About the images

While serving as an Army medic during the Vietnam years, Steven Meyers x-rayed odd objects — telephones, glass, shoes — just for kicks. Now he's evolved into a professional x-ray artist whose photos reveal the inner architecture of their subjects. Meyers seeks out flowers and leaves with intricate and variable infrastructures, then takes thousands of shots to get one that "speaks."
